Picaboo Yearbooks Introduces the World’s First Scratch-and-Sniff Yearbooks

Princeton, NJ — Picaboo Yearbooks is proud to announce a breakthrough in yearbook technology: Scratch-and-Sniff Printing™.

For the first time ever, students can experience their memories—not just see them.

Each page is enhanced with advanced scent-layer technology, bringing iconic school moments to life, including:

  • Fresh-cut grass from the soccer field

  • Popcorn from game night

  • The unmistakable scent of a brand-new classroom in September

Early reactions from students:
“This actually goes hard.”
“It’s kinda fire, not gonna lie.”

The technology uses multi-layer micro-encapsulated scent printing, allowing each page to deliver a unique sensory experience with just a simple scratch.

However, Picaboo engineers note that not every memory smells amazing.

Some pages may include:

  • Locker room… authenticity

  • Bus ride home energy

  • That one hallway after lunch

CEO statement:
“We wanted yearbooks to capture real life. And real life… has range.”

Scratch-and-Sniff Yearbooks will be available for the 2026 season.

Happy April Fool’s Day 😄
