1. What is the turnaround time for a camp book? Picaboo Yearbooks guarantees delivery within 15 business days of order submission — under 3 weeks from start to finish. This applies to standard orders; books with special cover treatments may take slightly longer. There are no forced deadlines, so your camp sets the pace until final submission.

2. Is there a minimum order for camp books? No. Picaboo Yearbooks has no minimum order requirement. Whether your camp needs 10 copies or 300, you can order exactly what you need with zero financial risk.

3. What happens if we need additional camp books after our initial order? No problem. Camps can reorder additional books after the initial print run if more families decide to purchase later. There is no minimum reorder quantity.

4. How much does it cost to print a camp book? A 20-page softcover camp book starts at $9.49 per book, with pricing scaling based on page count, cover type, and finish. Because every camp's book is different, a sales professional builds a free, customized proposal based on your camp's specific needs and quantity.

5. Do you offer discounts or free shipping for large orders? Yes. Orders of 50 or more books qualify for free shipping to one location within the continental US. Smaller orders can discuss shipping options directly with a sales representative.

6. How many pages can our camp book have? Camp books can be produced in a wide range of page counts, from a short single-session keepsake to a full-summer publication. Your Picaboo Yearbooks representative can help determine the best size and page count based on your content and budget.

7. Can our camp raise money by selling memory books? Yes. Camps determine their own selling price and keep the profits generated from book sales, and can even use date-based pricing to adjust cost throughout the season.

8. Can we sell ads, and how much revenue does the camp keep? Yes. Camps can set their own ad sizes and pricing, and parents or local businesses can purchase and design their own ads directly through the camp's online store. The camp keeps 90% of all ad revenue generated, with no transaction fees deducted from sales.

9. Can parents order camp books online? Yes. Camps can offer a free online storefront where parents and campers purchase books directly. After each session, books are placed on a camp-specific storefront so families can personalize and purchase for shipment straight to their homes.

10. What if we have multiple camp sessions with different campers? You can choose to create one book covering all sessions or separate books for each one. Many camps reuse scenery, activity, and counselor photos across session books to save time when building multiple editions.

11. Does Picaboo handle distribution to campers and families? Yes. If you'd rather skip the hassle of collecting and distributing books yourself, Picaboo offers direct distribution, shipping finished books straight to campers and their families.

12. Do we need internet access at the campsite to collect content? No. Internet access isn't required during camp itself. Stories, photos, interviews, and maps can be collected on-site and uploaded to build the book after campers have gone home.

13. What software do we use to design the camp book, and do we need experience? Camps use Creator Studio™, Picaboo's free online design platform with built-in templates and drag-and-drop tools, work with Picaboo's design team on a custom build, or upload a print-ready PDF from outside software. No prior yearbook experience is required.

14. Are there templates and artwork made for camp books? Yes. Creator Studio™ includes professionally designed templates, layouts, backgrounds, fonts, and a large library of summer and camp-themed artwork, including pre-designed camp book options ready to customize.

15. Can we use our camp's own colors and themes? Absolutely. You can build the book around your camp's official colors for a cohesive feel, or choose background images and themes that fit each activity or section of the book.

16. Is there a deadline we have to meet? No fixed deadlines are imposed, aside from the delivery date your camp sets for itself. This gives directors, counselors, and volunteers flexibility to build the book at their own pace, right up until final submission for printing.

18. What cover and size options are available for camp books? Camp books come in 8.5×11 or 9×12 sizes, with hardcover and softcover ordering, and square back spines. Standard 100# paper is used on all books, with PUR, Smyth, or saddle-stitched binding, and a choice of matte or gloss finish.

19. Are camp books printed in full color? Yes. Every Picaboo camp book is professionally printed in full color throughout using high-quality printing processes that produce vibrant images and sharp text.

20. Can each camper personalize their own copy? Yes. Every camp book includes four free personalized pages per camper, giving each kid space to upload their own photos and record their individual memories from the summer.

21. Can we offer a digital camp book in addition to print? Yes. Picaboo lets camps offer a digital version viewable on any tablet or smartphone alongside the printed book. Camps set their own price for the digital copy and keep 50% of that revenue.

22. Does Picaboo Yearbooks provide customer support during production? Yes. Every camp works with a dedicated account manager who provides guidance throughout the entire process, from setup and design questions to proofing and final submission.

23. What if we make a mistake after submitting our camp book? Once a book has entered production, changes typically cannot be made. Your dedicated account manager will help you review your project before submission to minimize errors and ensure everything is ready for print.
