What is the turnaround time for a college or university yearbook? Picaboo Yearbooks guarantees delivery within 15 business days of order submission — under 3 weeks from start to finish. This applies to standard orders; books with special cover treatments may take slightly longer. There are no forced deadlines during the year, so your yearbook staff sets the pace until final submission.

2. Is there a minimum order for college and university yearbooks? No. Picaboo Yearbooks has no minimum order requirement. Whether your campus needs 10 copies or 300, you can order exactly what you need with zero financial risk to your school.

3. What happens if we need additional yearbooks after our initial order? No problem. Colleges and universities can reorder additional yearbooks after the initial print run if more students or staff decide to purchase later. There is no minimum reorder quantity.

4. How much does it cost to print a college or university yearbook? A 20-page softcover yearbook starts at $9.49 per book, with pricing scaling based on page count, cover type, and finish. Because every campus's book is different, a sales professional builds a free, customized proposal based on your school's specific needs and quantity.

5. Do you offer discounts or free shipping for large orders? Yes. Orders of 50 or more books qualify for free shipping to one location within the continental US. Smaller orders can discuss shipping options directly with a sales representative.

6. How many pages can our college or university yearbook have? College and university yearbooks can be produced in a wide range of page counts, from a slim commemorative book to a full campus-wide publication. Your Picaboo Yearbooks representative can help determine the best size and page count based on your content and budget.

7. Can our school raise money by selling yearbooks? Yes. Schools determine their own selling price and keep the profits generated from yearbook sales, making it an effective way to fund the yearbook program or support student organizations.

8. Can we sell ads, and how much revenue does the school keep? Yes. Schools can set their own ad sizes and pricing, and students, businesses, and organizations can purchase and design their own ads directly through the school's online store. The school keeps 90% of all ad revenue generated, with no transaction fees deducted from sales.

9. Can students order yearbooks online? Yes. Colleges and universities can offer a customizable, mobile-friendly online store where students, faculty, and families purchase yearbooks directly. Orders are processed through the school's custom sales page, making it easy to manage sales without collecting cash or checks.

10. What software do we use to design the yearbook, and do we need experience? Schools use Creator Studio™, Picaboo's free online design platform with built-in templates and drag-and-drop tools, work with Picaboo's design team on a custom build, or upload a print-ready PDF from outside software. No prior yearbook experience is required, every school is paired with a dedicated account manager for hands-on support throughout the process.

11. Are there templates made for college and university yearbooks? Yes. Standard 100# paper is used on all books, with PUR, Smyth, or saddle-stitched binding, and a choice of matte or gloss finish.

21. Can we offer a digital yearbook in addition to print? Yes. Picaboo Yearbooks lets schools offer a digital version viewable on any tablet or smartphone alongside the printed book. Schools set their own price for the digital copy and keep a share of that revenue, giving students a lower-cost option without cutting into print sales.

22. Does Picaboo Yearbooks provide customer support during production? Yes. Every school works with a dedicated account manager who provides guidance throughout the entire yearbook process, from setup and design questions to proofing and final submission.

23. What if we make a mistake after submitting our yearbook? Once a yearbook has entered production, changes typically cannot be made. Your dedicated account manager will help you review your project before submission to minimize errors and ensure everything is ready for print.
