2nd Place Winners - Best Overall Yearbook

  • Grace Lutheran High School

This year, the yearbook class decided that they wanted to focus on the idea of Look How Far We’ve Come and to visually represent this with brightly colored, retro graphics. This theme was meaningful to us because our theme Bible verse for the year is Hebrews 10:23, “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.” When we look back through the year through articles and pictures, we are reminded of all that we have accomplished over the year and, most importantly, that God was with us through it all. I am submitting this book because of how proud I am of my students' hard work all semester and how the book's theme is woven so beautifully throughout the whole yearbook.

  • Tonaquint Intermediate

Our theme for the year was Soaring and our Logo is a Hawk. The cover is a perfect depiction of a soaring to excellence and showing up as your best self.

  • Ormondale Elementary

This year’s Ormondale Elementary yearbook, Adventure Awaits, captures the spirit of exploration, growth, and discovery. The bold imagery of a powerful horse charging forward through waves reflects the courage, energy, and determination of our students as they embrace each new challenge. Just like the horse, our learners are unstoppable—riding into the future with confidence and curiosity.

The backdrop of wide skies and endless horizons reminds us that the possibilities are limitless. Every page of this book is a new adventure, filled with stories, friendships, and milestones that make this year unforgettable.

  • Science Etc.

“The Inside Story” is not just characterized by purposeful design and detail, but with content and coverage that draws our homeschool community closer while also broadening their perspective on life.

Our plethora of content, personal stories, and photography reveals the dedication to truth our students seek and the endless intrigue that our school embodies. With the theme of “The Inside Story” guiding us, we set a goal of inclusivity, and featured 99% of our students (other than their student portrait) in our yearbook content and stories. Diverse perspectives and opinions are on full display to shape and teach our school community.
Theme and layout design went hand-in-hand, with subtle cohesion and intentional sectioning, involving this past year’s memories within. Ripped paper headers strewn throughout the book reflect the literary title and intimately nostalgic nature of a memorable novel. Deep blues complement neutrals, painting a comforting picture of warmth and invitation. Bold splashes of invigorating reds are balanced by soft edges and flowing layouts. Minimalist sketches dotted with care add a playful and youthful air showing the readers that not all stories are words on a page, but journeys of growth. Our modern layouts appeal to this generation’s sense of style and interest. Headers such as “Deep Dive” and “A Peek Inside” indicate the depth of passion our school can offer and the mystery of the story within.

3rd place winners - best overall yearbook design

  • St. Johnsbury Academy

This is my 24th yearbook, and I am most proud of this one. As a photographer, I tend to take more photos, and I think that is evident in this year's book. The students look forward to my photos every year in our newsletters and on social media, and the book becomes an extension of that to share as many photos as possible. The design is one I have been fine-tuning for the last three years.

  • Norwell Middle School

This is the first year that we worked with Picaboo Yearbooks, and the first year that our school offered a yearbook club for our students. In the past, only teachers worked on the yearbook, but this year, students brought their energy and ideas, and it is our best yearbook yet!

  • Brilliantmont

It depicts the students' life and faith journey through the years. It is a labor of love making it a fun filled learning experience for all parents, students, faculty, staff and family members.

  • Flower Mound High School

This year was special for our Schools marching band as it was selected to march in the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade. We do a memory book each year and having the added details of our NYC trip along with our band's theme this year made it an extra special year. We had 2 main themes that I tried to make cohesive throughout but kept the main NYC trip to its own special section as not to overshadow our competition band's showcasing. Our competition band's theme this year was inspired by the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. I tried to use polka dots, red/white/yellow/black when referring to many of our sections that included our competitions. It was a very very special year for our band. Not only were we lucky enough to participate in the Macy's parade and explore NYC together but we also won 1st place at one of our big competitions and won 3rd place in our state competition. We were one of the highest ranking marching bands in the country this year and I feel the book reflects that accordingly.
