Announcing Picaboo Yearbooks Creator Studio
We are rolling out a new and improved way to manage and design yearbooks — introducing Picaboo Yearbooks Creator Studio. Times are a-changin’ and so is the web. Which is why we’ve completely rebuilt the Picaboo Yearbooks online designer with the newest web technologies that are faster, more secure and provide more creative freedom. Below are just a few of the improvements available right now.
Improved project management
See all the projects and online storefronts for your organization in one view. Open a project and get a dashboard view of pricing, online sales, team members, sections, pages, photos and more.
Manage photos
Adding photos to sections is nothing new, but now you can add tags to photos for better organization. We’re also working on fully integrating Vidigami’s intelligent photo management solution to give you even greater control over your school photos. Read all about it
New text editor
The new text editor makes it easier to find and try different fonts. Choose your font colors from our new color picker.
New photo filters
You can choose from 25+ beautiful photo filters. Adjust the focus of your photo with radial and linear photo blurring.
Create from an existing project
Create from scratch or use a last year’s project or other previous project as a template. All layouts, stickers and backgrounds are copied to the new project without any of the photos.
So much more to come
Stay tuned! In the weeks to come we will continue to roll out improvements for the 2017-2018 school year including better portrait management, mobile device access, people tagging and more.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I open my old projects?
Yes. Existing projects will continue to open in the old software where you can make edits as well as purchases. Because the new yearbook software is using different technology than our old software, the new software will not be able to open projects created before August #. You can access old projects the same way you access new projects by signing in to Creator Studio, find the project you want to edit, click on it and click “Edit”. If it was created in the old software, it will open in the old software.
